Scott Stone – President
Scott is President of ExitHigh and is responsible for day to day operations and client engagements. He works with business owners to assess their enterprise from strategic and tactical perspectives and then develops executable plans to achieve their desired growth and exit objectives. Scott specializes in analyzing the financial and operational interconnections responsible for creating value that enables businesses to outperform their competition.
Scott has over twenty years of senior management experience leading teams in the software, telecommunications, and health care sectors. From Fortune 50, to Private Equity-backed middle-market companies, to early stage start-ups, Scott brings significant transactional and operational expertise to each engagement. As a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, his experience extends beyond finance and accounting and encompasses product development, product management, and marketing. Additionally, Scott has an entrepreneurial streak as a founder of a technology focused professional services group.
Scott earned a Masters of Professional Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Information Technology Professional, and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Scott is actively involved in the community and serves as Chairman of the Greystone Foundation, a mentor for Alabama Launchpad, and is the founder of Common Ground Produce. Scott is a native of Hattiesburg, MS, and has spent the last 17 years as a resident of Birmingham, AL.
