Experience is a grand teacher. Having been around the block a few times, we have a genuine affinity and keen appreciation for what it takes to build valuable companies and to navigate exits. We learned first hand the value of objectivity after being blindsided a few times. We grew to appreciate candor even though it occasionally stung a bit.
